WP Plugin Intro
Hey folks,

Please use this forum to post any questions / bug reports / feature suggestions for the Form Tools Wordpress Plugin.

You can find the documentation here:
http://docs.formtools.org/wordpress_plugin/

This initial version is pretty basic: it offers a limited subset of Form Tools functionality within Wordpress. So if you really feel that some features should be implemented over others, let me know!

- Ben

RE: WP Plugin Intro
Hi Ben,

Congratulations for this plugin!! I think you soon will be in top 3 most downloaded WP forms plugins.
I suggest you to add some more features like exporting to excel, or a tool to simple setup reports in pdf or html (yes, was thinking in Black Sheep Invoices Smile )...

I think you already know, but one of the leaders is http://www.deliciousdays.com/cforms-plugin

RE: WP Plugin Intro
Hi,
I think this plugin is just great - thank you for creating it, Ben! I could use, however, another feature in it, I wonder if it is possible to add at all. This would be the print or export option for forms. The reason why I think it would be great for users is that many of the form managers just log in for these final submission info, the list itself, and they do not really bother with submission-to-submission issues. I am managing a university institution's site where I implemented formtools and the plugin too, and this is the experience so far. Could this be done? Is there any way to add it?
Thank you for FormTools and the plugin too, once again!

RE: WP Plugin Intro
Hi Zoltan,

Agreed! That would be a very useful feature.

The WP plugin was kind of a one-off experiment, which I haven't gotten back to yet. No doubt it needs to be updated for the more recent versions of Wordpress. When I wrote it, I just wanted to include the core features - nothing more; so the Export Manager module integration was dropped.

I'd very much to add it, but quite honestly don't see it happening in the short term... I have an awful lot of work on my plate and can't take on anything more.

But thanks for the post! When it comes time to upgrading the plugin I'll definitely keep this in mind. Smile
