RE: Step 2 Error
Hey Kenny,
So do you have Form Tools already installed? If so, it will have a config.php file created in that global folder. Most likely you're looking in a different /global folder - that's the most likely culprit! You'll need to FTP to your server and go to the root of your Form Tools installation (the same folder that contains the login page). There, go into the /global folder and look for the config.php file. If you still don't see it, refresh whatever FTP client you're using - perhaps it's cached it. If you *don't* have Form Tools installed, you won't have those 2 values. Hope this helps a bit. - Ben |

RE: Step 2 Error
Heya,
No worries! I'm wondering if maybe there's a bit of a miscommunication: Form Tools 2 is a separate application which you install somewhere on your server (probably not in your Wordpress folder): http://docs.formtools.org/installation/ The Wordpress plugin (which it looks like you're interested in using) is just a way to view and manage form submissions via Wordpress. That needs to be installed separately, after Form Tools is up and running. http://docs.formtools.org/wordpress_plug...stallation The /global/config.php file that is mentioned is found in the Form Tools installation: not in the Wordpress installation. Sorry that wasn't clear! (The documentation is in a constant state of being updated, so there's always this and that that's not clear). Anyway, hope this info helps - Ben |

RE: Step 2 Error
![]() Thanks for the clarification Ben, and sorry for the late reply. Looks like there is a slight miscommunication here but its all good now. I didn't know that Form Tools 2 is a separate application. I will try & review the installation steps (the 2 links) given above & will revert back should I encounter any error. Thanks again & have a good day. -Kenny |
