Uploading photos via iPhone - alexh - May 2nd, 2011 Hey all! I am currently running formtools on a website where users complete a form and are able to upload two photos. Unfortunately, Safari on the iPhone does not allow for photo uploads from the browser. (The "Browse" button is greyed out, and not supported). I have been reading up a solution (https://www.cliqcliq.com/support/quickpic/#web-app-integration) but don't quite understand it. Has anyone had success with implementing this with formtools? Has anyone discovered or come up with another method? Thanks! Alex RE: Uploading photos via iPhone - Ben - May 2nd, 2011 Good question... I don't know of one myself, but I'd be curious to know if anyone else has encountered this issue. - Ben RE: Uploading photos via iPhone - alexh - May 3rd, 2011 I found a little bit of a solution... although not for everyone. I downloaded "iCab Mobile" which is a web browser for iPhone and iPad. It allows for mobile uploads of images or files. Although it's not a perfect situation, since not many people use that app, it at least allows me to upload items remotely with my iPhone. RE: Uploading photos via iPhone - crunchers - May 3rd, 2011 Probably moot(?) if you're planning on limiting access to your office's own IP address? RE: Uploading photos via iPhone - alexh - May 4th, 2011 The submission of the files will be made by others, and employees in the field. Viewing the files via the back end will be only done at the office. (May 3rd, 2011, 11:28 PM)crunchers Wrote: Probably moot(?) if you're planning on limiting access to your office's own IP address? |
