Client with View Only Permissions - alexh - May 2nd, 2011 Is it possible to limit which clients can edit form submissions? For instance, can I have a client login that can only VIEW submissions and not edit? Alex OK, I figured it out... after reading the manual ;-) For those with the same question: Create a new "View" and when you select the data to show, you can allow or not allow editing for each particular item. I love this software!! RE: Client with View Only Permissions - Ben - May 2nd, 2011 Hi Alex, Haha - funnily enough I was talking with my business partner about this exact feature last night. He wanted a quick way set an entire user account as "readonly", instead of having to create copies of the Views and remove the option to edit the fields. I gotta admit, I thought that was pretty reasonable - so just so you know, I'll be adding that feature (a "readonly" setting for each user account) into an upcoming version of the 2.1.0 alpha. Hopefully it'll help cut down on configuration time a little. Anyway, glad you got it figured out! ![]() - Ben RE: Client with View Only Permissions - alexh - May 2nd, 2011 Thanks Ben! I agree that it would make things much easier. It's working great for me now though. Keep up the hard work! Alex |
