Views for submission and Views for editing - sbrown - May 3rd, 2016 I wouldn't be surprised if this is answered somewhere in the forum. I went through about a dozen pages but didn't see what I was looking for. I am new to Formtools and Form tools builder, like yesterday. I am using the Form Tools builder to create my views. I used FormTools Builder to create my table by creating a form that had all the fields I would need. Then I created a view with just a portion of those fields. And I want everyone to be able to enter data on this form. I think that works. Then I created a view with most of the rest of the fields but with a restriction to a particular client. The want to give a URL to the client where he can view all the records, 1 page at a time, that pass the filter. So far it appears that he has to log into formtools and then click on view and edit etc. I thought there was mention of a dropdown popping up when that view is accessed, but I found nonw. And the view is blank, like a static page. What am I missing? Steve RE: Views for submission and Views for editing - alexh - May 26th, 2016 I think I understand what you are asking. If this is an internal form, your user will definitely have to log in to use it. |
