New Installation - lou gustav - May 23rd, 2016

I tried to install the form tools, first time it came with an error message to change permission for theme folder, which I did and then restated the web browser, this time nothing happens, it is just blank page and I waited for allmost 20 mins, thinking it is doing something, but nothing happened. what am I doing wrong here? can someone please help.

(I have Ubuntu 16.04, Apache/2.4.18, PHP 7 and MySQL 5.7 running on i7 box - 32 GB RAM and 2 TB hard drive. )

Did you find the source of the problem? I have a similar problem except it is on IIS, PHP 7 and MySQL 5. It is just blank screen after install/index.php is run. Didn't even see step 1.

Drop to PHP5, will not work on PHP7 due to the changes in the MYSQL calls.
