Formatting submission_date field - alexh - Jun 8th, 2011

I am pulling a date from the submission_date field, which echo's to a php page. When I view the date by editing the submission, I see "June 07,2011 10:49 PM " When I echo the submission_date field it says "2011-06-07 22:49:38".

How do I reformat that date to show it in the format: F d, Y g:i T

Ok, so as it usually goes, I spent an hour and a half trying to figure it out.. and now that I posted this, I got it:

echo date('F d, Y g:i T', strtotime($date)); ?>


($f5 is the submission_date field)
