Copying rows from Form - jvd88 - Jul 3rd, 2011 Hi, Is it possible to copy rows in a form ? I will be using Fromtools as a system to make datafeeds, this will implement csv files with say 100 rows. But all the rows are copies of the first 6 rows. it would be great to copy them instead of making them all over and over again. joep RE: Copying rows from Form - Ben - Jul 8th, 2011 Hi Joep, I'm afraid not... but that's a great idea for a module! Form Tools 2.1.0 offers the option to define default values for a submission, but that's really as close as it comes right now. Sorry about that - Ben RE: Copying rows from Form - jvd88 - Jul 9th, 2011 Do you think it is very difficult to make ? Or import a xls file instead of a html form. That should make a lot of difference. If you can import xls. RE: Copying rows from Form - Ben - Jul 9th, 2011 Hi Joep, Unfortunately, it *would* be a fair amount of work, yes... What we really need is an "Import Manager" module to allow for this. But I'm going to be busy with other work in the meantime. I'm just speaking to my business partner - we're going to put together a survey to suggest possible modules for us to work on. I'll include this as a suggestion to see what kind of a response we get. Sorry I couldn't be more help! - Ben |
