Forgot password email not send - Jan - Aug 31st, 2011 Hey everybody, When type username at forgot password the email is not send. Any suggestions? Thanks RE: Forgot password email not send - Ben - Aug 31st, 2011 Hi Jan, A few questions: - what version of the Form Tools Core are you using? - are you using the Swift Mailer module? - do you get any type of error message, or does it say the email has been sent? If it says the email's been sent, then it has (or it thinks it has) or it's been scheduled by your host to be sent. Also, check your junk mail to see if it's ended up there. I am using the latest version of this script and i am just looking arround at this point. Mail is not in my junk mail, just nothing is send. It says the email has bin send.. I do not get errors... RE: Forgot password email not send - Ben - Sep 4th, 2011 Hi Jan, Okay, next step is to check the server logs. Could you ask your hosting provider to ask if there are any email logs? If so, request the password again through the page again then check the logs. Is this for your admin account? If so, you can always resort to resetting it manually: http://docs.formtools.org/tutorials/resetting_admin_password/ The Swift Mailer is just an alternative way of sending emails. It's a lot better in that it's more reliable and more flexible.
