2.1.7 difficulties... - ftuser - Nov 5th, 2011 Hi again, After the update to 2.1.7 I can't change the View's settings. When the Update view button is pressed the main form settings page is loaded and all of the view's settings changes are lost. If anybody has an idea how to solve it I'll be thankful... Best regards RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - Ben - Nov 7th, 2011 Hi ftuser, What version did you upgrade from? 2.1.6 and 2.1.7 just included a few minor bug fixes - nothing that should change any behaviour. Could you run the System Check module to see if you can find any problems? http://modules.formtools.org/system_check/ - Ben RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - hubbabubba - Nov 7th, 2011 Hi, I have the same problem with 2.1.7. Upgraded from 2.0x to 2.1.5. with no problems. After updating from 2.1.5. to 2.1.7. I get the exact same behavior ftuser is getting. Also somewhere along these updates the option to use the hook ft_process_email_template, start no longer exists as an available hook in my Hooks Manager. Some functionality I use constantly relies on the particular hook so I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this too while I'm at it I ran the System Check module, found problems with the hooks table, fixed them and everything passed. The problems persists, however. Would be very thankful for any advice on how to fix this. And thanks for a very useful piece of software! Best regards RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - Ben - Nov 7th, 2011 Hmm...! This is worrying. Any chance either of you would mind gibing me access to your Form Tools installation so I could log on and take a look? My email is ben.keen@gmail.com Also - what browser are you using? - Ben RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - hubbabubba - Nov 7th, 2011 (Nov 7th, 2011, 10:28 AM)Ben Wrote: Hmm...! This is worrying. Hi, will send you an email. I have tried this with both Firefox 7, IE9 and Chrome 15.0.874.10 Thanks for helping out, it's really appreciated. RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - Ben - Nov 7th, 2011 Hi ftuser, Not at all! I'm sorry it's a problem - it's entirely my own mistake. I found the problem & have fixed it locally. What happened was that I'd accidentally checked into SVN a line of code for the upcoming Form Builder module, which is preventing certain pages on the Edit Form tabs to load properly. I'm just confirming it with hubbabubba and will release a fix very soon! - Ben RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - Ben - Nov 7th, 2011 Hey ftuser - 2.1.8 has just been released to address this. Just upgrade and all will be well. Apologies! And thanks for letting me know, guys. - Ben RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - hubbabubba - Nov 7th, 2011 Thanks for being more than helpful, Ben. It's not everyday people are willing to help someone in this magnitude. Have a great week! RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - moorezilla - Nov 7th, 2011 I think there may still be an issue, even at 2.1.8. The submission accounts module throws a 500 error when trying to upgrade it after upgrading to formtools 2.1.8. 500 error to upgrade or to uninstall. RE: 2.1.7 difficulties... - Ben - Nov 8th, 2011 Hi Andy, Don't worry - that was unrelated. I just released a new version of the module (1.2.8) that remedies it. http://modules.formtools.org/submission_accounts/download.php Thanks! - Ben |
