Using form data for email address - SoccerDad - Jun 17th, 2009

Hi Ben! Many moons ago, FormTools 1, you assisted me with a patch that allowed me to use form data in the email from field. I have tried this in 2, but no luck. Is there another way to do this or will this feature be added to 2?

TIA!
SD

Example:
Code:
From: %ANSWER9%

I think,... under From you have to hit custom, then throw in the {$ANSWER_xxx} placeholder. Replace xxx with the name of your form field. (The code has changed from FT1). All the answers are conveniently under the reference tab.

Test it out for me.

Hi there!

Yes, tried that, but to no avail. Field won't save and just warns about bad content.
