Email Redirect Not Working. Please Help - zportell - Feb 8th, 2012 I've installed Form Tools 2.2.1 and have everything working properly with the exception of when the form is submitted, the form is not emailing the content to the specified email target. I can send test emails and they come through without a glitch. I can submit the form and instantly see (using the backend of form tools) that the form has been submitted. The view count keeps increasing and my submitted field content is visible. I can edit to see each form, I can download the bunch, etc... However, when every form is submitted, it should be emailed directly to me, informing me there has been a submission and the content of the submission(s) should be viewable using my email. How do I get this to work if I have (seemingly) filled out the correct information in the email setup of each of my forms? PLEASE HELP!!! I didn't have this issue in an earlier version. Thanks RE: Email Redirect Not Working. Please Help - Ben - Feb 11th, 2012 Hi zportell, Ack! Sorry you're having trouble. Two things to quickly verify: 1. Do you have the "on submission" checkbox selected for the "Event Trigger" setting on the first tab of the Edit Email Template page? 2. Are you sure the email field in your form is correctly identified as the "main" recipient for your email template? Had to ask - both are easy to miss. Let me know if not. - Ben RE: Email Redirect Not Working. Please Help - zportell - Feb 13th, 2012 (Feb 11th, 2012, 2:00 AM)Ben Wrote: Hi zportell, Thanks for the advice Ben, However, I do have the event trigger set as "on form submission" and the email is labeled as "main". I don't know what else I could be missing as I had this working in a previous version of Form Tools. (Granted, it was a different site.) But I wouldn't think it would be much different... Fill out the information and update/submit the form. Do you have any other suggestions? Help is definitely needed and also appreciated with this topic. RE: Email Redirect Not Working. Please Help - Ben - Feb 17th, 2012 Hmmm! Very puzzling indeed. Sounds like you've done everything right. Is your form a direct POST form, or does it use the API? But I'm kind of stumped. Any chance you could give me temporary FTP + Form Tools Admin access so I could take a look at the problem directly? If so, email me at ben.keen@gmail.com. - Ben |
