image upload module - gummisko - Mar 17th, 2012 I'm using Form Tools as a basis for CMS functionality for a small website. It makes me very happy. But I have two questions: Is there a way to manipulate the file-upload field so that turns into a more enhanced image upload tool. So it stores images in website-friendly formats, maybe even a crop function of some sort? Additionally, it would be a help when the WYSIWYG facility could also deal with images. Is that possible? Please let me know if I post in wrong place or if this discussion is a very old one. Thanks a lot. RE: image upload module - Ben - Mar 21st, 2012 Hi Gummisko, Thanks for the post! I wish I could say yes to either of these, but I'm afraid not. An improved image uploader would be a terrific addition, but I've never found the time to work on it. Similarly, the WYSIWYG field could use a serious update to allow for improved functionality, but it's not on the roadmap just yet. I think you may need to track down a developer to look into this for you. Sorry about that! - Ben RE: image upload module - gummisko - Mar 22nd, 2012 Hi Ben, Thank you very much for the reply. No problem. I will look for other ways. Best regards, G |
