confirmation number on thank you page - mcambon - May 8th, 2012 Hi there, Apologies in advance if this has been covered in the forum, but I couldn't find anything I thought might be applicable. I'm wondering if it's possible using the external form method (or form builder for that matter, which i'm planning to purchase) to either have a confirmation number, ie, the unique id number of a new record after a form is submitted, displayed on the thank-you page, so the user can write it down as a reference for the from they have submitted. I know this is possible to do with PHP and I could likely figure it out if someone gave me some code hints and where the code should go. I just don't know if it's possible when I'm using the external html form and not the API. Alternatively, the confirmation number could also be via notification through email. I have the email notification set up on my forms, am just wondering how to get the a unique id number. We need the confirmation number for referring to hard copy receipts submitted by the user at various times over the month. Thanks in advance! mcambon |
