Client being able to edit Email Templates - antonitus - Mar 2nd, 2009 Hi Ben, Is there an option to allow a client that is on the list to edit a form's email templates? I've tried looking for it, but I couldn't quite figure it out. The reason is that I do not want the client to have full admin priveleges. Regards, Tony RE: Client being able to edit Email Templates - Ben - Mar 2nd, 2009 No, this option isn't allowed, I'm afraid. Only the administrator can edit the email templates. Sorry about that! - Ben RE: Client being able to edit Email Templates - antonitus - Mar 2nd, 2009 Hi Ben, That would have been a good touch to your script. The reason for this is that I would like a client to do a lot of what the admin does but limited of course, i.e they should not have access to the initial set up, etc. In fact, if you assume your script is a realty script and the client is an agent, then you would allow the agent to edit/add property listings, but not have access to the configuration side. Take the Open-Realty script (if you know it), it has exactly this function. It would be a very useful tool to have, maybe in the future. Regards, Tony |
