Form creation process times out after Step 4 - tgutowski - Dec 7th, 2012 Hi everyone: I'm experiencing a very odd bug when creating forms. I would say this happens on about every 6th form or so that I create. When I try to advance between step 4 and 5 ... the process seems to bog down and eventually my web server times out with a 504 error. The odd thing is, I start over again with the same exact form HTML (from a different submitting domain), and the process will work seamlessly. But even if I try to restart the process from scratch on the problem form, with completely different form fields, it will NEVER allow me to advance from step 4 to step 5. I've heavily editing step4.php and step5.php, echoing out to the php error log from different parts of the script. I cannot isolate what is going wrong. All I have been able to gather is that footer.tpl is never called when rendering step5.tpl, but that doesn't seem to be the cause of the timeout (e.g., I can simply have step5.tpl return "HELLO WORLD", and the process will still time out). I've controlled for all other related data (the client, the type of form [public-private-admin]), and I just can't isolate the problem. Has anyone else run into a recurring, periodic issue after you try to advance past step 4 in the form creation process? Thanks, Tim |
