Swift Mailer with Exchange Server - filch - Jan 4th, 2013 I have run into this before but here it is again ... using Swiftmailer with an exchange server. It seems that the Exchange server does not like any of the authentication methods provided in the module (login, plain, cram-md5). I either get "There was a problem communicating with SMTP: The SMTP connection failed to start [tls://smtp.somecollege.ca:587]: fsockopen returned Error Number 0 and Error String '' ...... or "There was a problem communicating with SMTP: No authentication mechanisms were tried since the server did not support any of the ones loaded. Loaded authenticators: [PLAIN, CRAM-MD5, LOGIN] Anyone been successful in getting the Smart Mailer module working with Exchange server? Dave
