form to mail? - salishsea - Feb 9th, 2013 I know this has to be a really stupid question. I have just installed Form Tools and successfully completed the form I need. The data goes into the database just fine. However, I need to have the data sent by e-mail each time the form is submitted. Nothing fancy, just need the raw data sent. Is there an easy way to do this? --dumb newbie RE: form to mail? - pilsnermonkey - Feb 9th, 2013 Yes it's pretty simple. Log in to your Form Tools admin. On the first page you've logged into, you will see your form(s) listed. In the far right column of your form(s), you will see an icon that looks like a pencil & paper. Click on that icon and you will be taken to the form admin panel. You will see 4 tabs: Main, Fields, Views & Emails. Click the Emails tab, then the create new email button. You will see a new 4 tab sub-form that will walk you through the steps necessary for creating a new email. Give it a whirl! RE: form to mail? - salishsea - Feb 10th, 2013 Thanks! It now all makes sense! I misunderstood the purpose of the "new email" button. ![]() |
