Unable to add a new field or update an existing field - bill09 - Sep 11th, 2013 Hi, I have a form with 114 fields. For some reason I am unable to add any new fields or change any existing fields. When I hit the Update button, it looks like something is happening but after a few seconds I am returned to the Fields page with the original information. I don't get the typical successfully updated message or any kind of error message. Has anyone else encountered this? UPDATE: I was able to delete a field, which allowed me to add another. I also changed the field sizes on a couple of fields to smaller values (eg small<20 chars). I checked and the table type is MyISAM. Is that limiting what I can store? Thanks, Bill RE: Unable to add a new field or update an existing field - Joe - Sep 16th, 2013 This may be an issue with your server. With a lot of fields on a form the script may time out. You may want to try showing fewer fields per page and the updates should go through. Cheers, Joe |
