temporary upload folder is not writable - JBPULLIAM - Nov 21st, 2013 under settings: upload folder path: Test permissions returns "This temporary upload folder specified by your PHP installation is not writable. Until this is fixed, files cannot be uploaded through Form Tools (or any other PHP program). Please contact your hosting provider." this is a windows host with path: G:\PleskVhosts\mydomain.com\httpdocs\formtools\upload which user needs to have what access for the module and the test to work properly. I cannot find any documentation on it. Go Daddy Support was not able to point me in direction to find any corresponding resources. thank you for any help you can provide RE: temporary upload folder is not writable - Joe - Nov 21st, 2013 Hi there, Here is a link on file permissions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_system_permissions Here is the link to the upload setting documentation: http://docs.formtools.org/userdoc2_1/?page=file_settings GoDaddy hosting has some drawbacks for more complex PHP applications. If you have other options I would consider trying those first. I know we've had other users that have struggled to install Form Tools on GoDaddy. Cheers, Joe RE: temporary upload folder is not writable - JBPULLIAM - Nov 21st, 2013 Joe, Thanks, i will let you know how I fare. Jerome |
