phishing email? - somdcomputerguy - Jan 25th, 2014
I just got an email to an address I've only used here. The body of the email starts with this
Quote:Hellο,
Thαnk yοu fοr chοοsing ΡαyΡαI . Sοme key infοrmαtiοn is missing. Cοnfirm yοur infοrmαtion Sοοn αs pοssible..
Whαt can you dο ?
Cοnfirm Yοur infοrmαtions with flοwing the link belοw. The link will expire in 30/01/2014.
The first link in the email had a .it TLD, and the text had a misspelling of a name, didn't have my name, and other typos. I have an account with that company, and the date format there is set to an 'American' display, not a 'European' format.
I'm just warning anybody else that might have gotten something similar. Don't click anything.

I just got a second one. Interesting - the images in this one are loaded from the phish bait's shop, so the HTML page you look at in your email client looks real!

Well, third one. This time I'm being warned that my iTunes account (which I don't have..) is about to expire..
I'm glad I registered to this site with a DEA (Disposable Email Address), so I'll just turn it off and change my address here.
Who else is receiving spam emails to the address used to register here?
