Upgrade error - sujith - Sep 26th, 2009 Ben, I upgraded to the latest core and now it shows an error "2.0.0-beta-20090923 is an invalid core version!" please help. RE: Upgrade error - Ben - Sep 26th, 2009 Yeah, sorry about that. I'll fix this today. Where do you see this error - on the upgrade page? You can still log in and use the script, correct? - Ben RE: Upgrade error - sujith - Sep 27th, 2009 Settings > Check for Updates page. screenshot attached Of course, still i can login and use the script. RE: Upgrade error - Ben - Sep 27th, 2009 Thanks, sujith. Try upgrading again: does the error message that appears prevent you from upgrading to the latest version? (I don't think it will, but I thought I'd check!) - Ben RE: Upgrade error - sujith - Oct 1st, 2009 It still says 2.0.0-beta-20090923 in red colour and All of your components are up to date. Just like the image attached in previous post I am unable to update RE: Upgrade error - Ben - Oct 3rd, 2009 Hi Sujith, Sorry for the wait on this one - it was actually rather a tricky problem to solve! What I've done is update the upgrade script to allow you to upgrade even if the core version is unrecognized. Let me know if you have any more trouble. - Ben RE: Upgrade error - Nikita007 - Oct 5th, 2009 Hi Ben, I had the same problem, as explained in a previous post. I think that it is a bug on the version NAME (date). When I click on the button "Check for updates", it says "2.0.0-beta-20090923 is an invalid core version!" - on your download file you had 2.0.0-beta-20090823 instead of 2.0.0-beta-20090923! -> 23 August (08), instead of 23 September (09)... RE: Upgrade error - Ben - Oct 5th, 2009 Yeah, that was the problem. I made a foolish typo when adding in the version number for that one release, sorry about that. However, now it should at least allow you to upgrade - the "core" checkbox should be checkable even though you'll still see the red message. Once you upgrade, you shouldn't see that error again. All the best - Ben RE: Upgrade error - sujith - Nov 14th, 2009 Thanks ben and sorry for the delay. The issue is solved now. RE: Upgrade error - Ben - Nov 14th, 2009 No worries, good to know! ![]() |
