Confirm email - confirm password fields - eastbay - May 12th, 2014 Is there a way to add a 'confirm-email' field or 'confirm-password' field in the form, where the user is required to input the email or password once again in a 2nd field, and it would be verified with the first input automatically? This is common on most forms. Thanks RE: Confirm email - confirm password fields - alexh - May 13th, 2014 You'll probably want to use something like jquery for that. Here's a tutorial I found. Haven't tried it myself, but it should work! http://kimjoyfox.com/using-jquery-to-confirm-email-before-submitting-a-form/ RE: Confirm email - confirm password fields - eastbay - May 14th, 2014 Thank you for your reply, I'll look into this. RE: Confirm email - confirm password fields - Joe - May 16th, 2014 The solution Alex sent along is perfect. You could also use the RSV script: http://docs.formtools.org/tutorials/js_validation/?page=rsv_file and use the same_as validation to compare the two fields. Any examples on how to achieve this... I've checked the documentation and I'm still lost. I'm needing to make my form allow people to confirm their email in a second field to avoid "fat fingers" RE: Confirm email - confirm password fields - jpmd - Apr 16th, 2016 Some question here. Can this feature be added to FormTools (compare two fields, either emails, passwords, etc...)? Thanks! RE: Confirm email - confirm password fields - VictorWood - Aug 2nd, 2020 It is very hard to change the format of the form which has been prepared and followed by lot of customers from many years. One can see the same format for https://www.myassignmentwriting.com.au/ writing service blog request form also. We can see lot of websites are using this form format in their application form. |
