Confirm email - confirm password fields - eastbay - May 12th, 2014

Is there a way to add a 'confirm-email' field or 'confirm-password' field in the form, where the user is required to input the email or password once again in a 2nd field, and it would be verified with the first input automatically? This is common on most forms.

You'll probably want to use something like jquery for that. Here's a tutorial I found. Haven't tried it myself, but it should work!

The solution Alex sent along is perfect.

You could also use the RSV script: http://docs.formtools.org/tutorials/js_validation/?page=rsv_file and use the same_as validation to compare the two fields.

Any examples on how to achieve this...

I've checked the documentation and I'm still lost.

I'm needing to make my form allow people to confirm their email in a second field to avoid "fat fingers"
