Laptop boot fix - carter12 - May 14th, 2021 my laptop doesn't turn on sometimes. i have to remove the battery and hold the power button for 15 seconds and turn on . and it doesn't work all the time too. and most of the times when i try to plug a usb , laptop turns off unexpectedly. what fixed this issue was a suggestion for peter at geek squad phone number, he suggested me to replace the wire connecting to the charger/adapter. After buying a new charging cable the issue was resolved. The issue was happening again and again because the cable was not supplying enought power for laptop. After changing the wire laptop is working fine without any issue.
