Possible to create a custom error page? - martin_undefined - Dec 7th, 2009 Having read the guide to customising the style of a Form Tools installation, I can see that it is possible to give the installation a look and feel to match a website. In the unlikely event that my client manages to force the form into giving an error - is it possible to turn off the current error code reporting and replace it with something more generic - in the style of the particular website - and flag the error code to the administrator? Appreciate this might involve some serious coding - just interested in understanding the principle steps. Just for anyone else looking at this - it looks like you can use a custom theme and the error.tpl Smarty template to manage this. Just need to suss the email aspect now. RE: Possible to create a custom error page? - Ben - Dec 10th, 2009 Hi Martin, You know that a script has gotten the better of you when you can't think of a solution to something. Good thinking with the custom theme. Didn't even cross my mind... *sigh*. It's the beginning of the end.... - Ben |
