Field answers not reported in email or email test - Rocket Music - Aug 31st, 2014 I just updated to 2.2.7, and now my form ANSWERS are not reported in the email sent, or the email test display view. All answers are reported in the submission when I view the data. The field names, ID, name, and email fields and answers are reported, but nothing else. When I select "omit empty fields" the fields do not show on the display test, so it seems to assume the fields are empty, but they are filled in the submission data. I'm at a loss about how to fix this and troubleshoot. Any ideas?? Things to check? Clues? thanks for any help ! Dan RE: Field answers not reported in email or email test - Rocket Music - Sep 1st, 2014 Fixed.... I set ALL of the field type to "Textbox" in the email settings in order to send the Answer. Not sure why it won't send anything else, but even when the form field type (is or should be) radio button or checkbox or etc., it will only send the answer in email when i select "textbox" as the field type. Am i missing something? This works, but seems like something is not correct. Still exploring... Just replace files on hosting with ones from arcive? RE: Field answers not reported in email or email test - bhotrock - Sep 22nd, 2014 When I unknowingly upgraded to 2.2.7 and didn't realize that it was broken, there were only two files that were updated with the upgrade from 2.2.6 to 2.2.7. After realizing that 2.2.7 was broken, I simply downloaded a 2.2.6 zip file and replaced the two files I had updated for 2.2.7. This reverted the install back to 2.2.6 and the radio button, checkbox problems were fixed. Those two files were: ./global/library.php ./global/code/field_types.php So if you can grab these two files from a 2.2.6 installation or download, and use them to replace the files in your 2.2.7 install, you should be fine. At least it worked for me. I really wish they would remove any links or sources to the broken 2.2.7 files so people don't unknowingly upgrade to something that's broken. RE: Field answers not reported in email or email test - Joe - Sep 23rd, 2014 Sorry for your troubles. We've removed from the download and build which should have automatically removed from the upgrade section. Looking into this now. Cheers, Joe RE: Field answers not reported in email or email test - bhotrock - Sep 24th, 2014 Hi Joe, Just to let you know, my accidental upgrade happened about 4-5 weeks ago. It may be that you've fixed the problem since then. I just wanted to make sure you knew this wasn't recent for me. I'm not sure when BoresExpress might have accessed 2.2.7. Thanks for all your help! RE: Field answers not reported in email or email test - Joe - Sep 24th, 2014 Thanks for the additional information. Cheers, Joe |
