File Permission and upload field issues - kurtislanderson@gmail.com - Sep 29th, 2014 I am currently using FormTools Core: 2.2.6 When I use the form builder to post new forms I get the following error when I go to publish it: Sorry, the Folder Path is not valid. Sorry, this does not appear to be a valid folder. In order to run this test, the permissions need to be set on the upload folder to allow for reading and writing files (777 on Unix). However I checked my file permissions in my FTP client and they are all set to 777. I even contacted my host to verify the file permission. On all existing forms that have a file attachment field, I get the following error: Your submission was updated, but the following file(s) had problems: • file: This field's upload folder is either invalid or is not writable. I have done the system check and everything is good. The only thing i could see to be causing this issue would be that i restored this install from a backup and placed it back into the same directory but also added a SSL certificate and are now using https RE: File Permission and upload field issues - Joe - Oct 1st, 2014 Did you update the config file so that the global root URL is HTTPS instead of HTTP?
