MySQL Connections Exceeded.. - dubq - Dec 4th, 2014 Hi all - I'm using 2.2.6 - I keep getting alerts that my concurrent MySQL connections are constantly being exceeded and, according to my host, it seems to be coming from the Form Tools forgot password page for admins/clients. Basically someone, or a bot, is attacking this page (from several different IPs) and I keep getting these alerts. Is there any way to remedy this? Can we add a CAPTCHA to the forgot password form? RE: MySQL Connections Exceeded.. - kaamil20 - Dec 5th, 2014 Yes, You can captcha on password. RE: MySQL Connections Exceeded.. - dubq - Dec 8th, 2014 How do I enable this? Just to clarify this isn't on one of my forms, it's on the Form Tools actual "forgotpassword.php" page.. RE: MySQL Connections Exceeded.. - Joe - Dec 9th, 2014 Hi there, You can block the bots by using this module: http://modules.formtools.org/ip_security_check/ Cheers, Joe RE: MySQL Connections Exceeded.. - dubq - Dec 9th, 2014 You are the best! Thanks Joe! RE: MySQL Connections Exceeded.. - Joe - Dec 9th, 2014 No problem! Cheers, Joe |
