Not all options copying into database - catonthecouchproductions - Feb 3rd, 2010 One of my clients has had form tools installed long before I came around. Recently I added some fields to the form and they are copying through to the email fine. However, they are not capturing into the export. Does anyone know why? Ryan RE: Not all options copying into database - Ben - Feb 3rd, 2010 Hey Ryan, Do you know if this is Form Tools 1 or 2? Thanks! - Ben RE: Not all options copying into database - catonthecouchproductions - Feb 3rd, 2010 Ben, Version 1.5.0 - Beta #3 Thanks, Ryan RE: Not all options copying into database - catonthecouchproductions - Feb 4th, 2010 Any ideas? RE: Not all options copying into database - Ben - Feb 6th, 2010 I'm afraid not, Ryan... I'm really just not familiar with the FT1 code anymore. It's been over 2 years since I really worked with it. Sorry about that. ![]() - Ben RE: Not all options copying into database - catonthecouchproductions - Feb 7th, 2010 (Feb 6th, 2010, 2:22 PM)Ben Wrote: I'm afraid not, Ryan... They cope to the database, show up in the email, but will not export to excel. RE: Not all options copying into database - waizen - Mar 2nd, 2010 I'm having the same issue. This is a fresh install of version 2. The form was set up and everything was running fine. Then, the client decided he wanted a country drop-down. I added it in in the page and set it up in the database using the 'Country' group that was there. Everything seems set up correctly. When I test it, the 'Country' information makes it to the email but does not show up in the control panel 'HTML/Printer-friendly' display, the Excel printout or the 'edit' section of the results. I feel your pain Waizen, that is exactly my issue! Help? RE: Not all options copying into database - waizen - Mar 2nd, 2010 I found the solution (at least in my case): 1. Click 'edit' on the form you are having an issue with. 2. Select the 'Views' tab at top. 3. Select 'edit' (next to the 'delete' link at right). If you had done this step sometime before, you may already be at step 4. 4. Select the 'Fields' tab below it 5. You will see a page with all sorts of check boxes. Down at the bottom is a multi-line text area where I found an unselected listing of my 'Country' field. 6. I selected it, clicked 'Add Field(s)' and then clicked on 'Update View' 7. Tested and jumped for joy. |
