Possible BLOND MOMENT????!!!!!! - Cathi - Feb 7th, 2015 Hey guys/gals! I'm new to Form Tools and before posting this, I searched and searched (for a few hours so I will be quite embarrassed if someone points me in the right direction straight away!) for the answer to a couple questions on the capabilities of FT as it applies to my situation. We have a sporting event company and teams need to sign up to pre-register - "pre-register" meaning we don't have them pay until they get to the event. A typical 2-day event might have 6 or 8 scheduled races, and teams are encouraged to sign up for as many as they feel they can handle, but I need to limit each one of the races to 50 registrants... So, in other words, could someone please tell me if there is the ability to limit the number of entries into a specific or unique field (column)? If that number gets reached, does FT have "wait list" capabilities? Another question... In FT or any of the modules, is there a way to view column totals on a form? Honestly, I used all of the relevant search terms before posting this! Also, if these features are not available but someone has implemented them on the form, I am certainly willing to pay for help! Thanks so much!!! Cathi RE: Possible BLOND MOMENT????!!!!!! - alexh - Feb 18th, 2015 That's an interesting question. I can't think of a way to do that. If you just wanted a list of the first 50 people and then a separate list for everyone past the 50th entry, I would suppose you could set two views with a filter that displays ID# 1-50 and the other that displays ID# 50+. Unfortunately, however, I don't think there is a greater than/less than operator for the filter. You could probably program something on your external form that would search that particular database column and check for how many submissions there are, and then deactivate the page or send the user to a waitlist form. Of course that would take some programming. Just thinking out loud :-) RE: Possible BLOND MOMENT????!!!!!! - Freda D - Jan 26th, 2021 I was looking for the best essay writing service information to get help in assignments and glad to have it here in detail.
