Trick for subject field? - Abinadi - Feb 11th, 2010 Trying to send a email upon submission of a form. The email goes out not a problem. Except I need to replace the standard subject line with a field the user entered in the form. In my case the field is "element_3" - everything is stored correctly in the DB - I just need to send the message as well via email. I do see where you can set subject line "EDIT EMAIL TEMPLATE" (Subject Line) except I do not want it hardcoded - I need to pick up the value added in the form. In the "FORM EMAIL FIELD CONFIGURATION" I see where I might potentially be able to associate email fields with form fields - problem is I do not see where I can add a new field - all I have is first name, last name, and email address Any help in what i can do to pass this field with the other fields allready being sent and set it to the subject of the email. Thanks RE: Trick for subject field? - Ben - Feb 12th, 2010 Heya, Sure, no worries - you should just be able to enter in the following placeholder into the Subject Line field: {$ANSWER_element_3}. That can be included in any other string & it will only replace that section with the content from the form submission. Hope that helps! - Ben |
