interaction between 2 forms - dinoar - Feb 26th, 2010 Hi Folks! First of all I would like to thanks everybody for the excellent improvement of FormTools! I have a question regarding interaction between 2 forms. It could be possible to read and link information between form 1 and form 2. For example I have the form 1 storing information about projects and the form 2 with information about companies. Now when I'm in form 1 I would like to link some companies (1,2,3,4,..) from form 2 with a project in form 1.. How could be implemented?? This is something I've thought about a great deal and would like to implement for future versions, but right now I'm afraid it's not possible. At some point I'm going to be making an improvement called "Custom Fields" which will allow users to construct fields types with whatever information they want. I hope to allow it to be so generic you could use that field to link to information in other forms. But it's still a long way off yet. Thanks for the post, though. - Ben
