Name and reply-to Address from Form Input - Apache - Jul 11th, 2010 Hi there, discovered FT just today and installed without any problems. Am stuck now due to a very simple issue though ... My Form carries a Name and an email field and I need the senders name and email apper in the emails Subject and reply-to header. Searched through the forum for an hour now but couldn't find anything. If I don't specify in the from and reply to email settings the mail is sent with CGI-Mail as subject.. then I figured to configure field settings which tell which fields carry what Info and then in the From and Reply to dropdown lists I selected [Form email Field]: Email .. but that causes the form not to send anything anymore... Any help would be appreciated... Thx RE: Name and reply-to Address from Form Input - Ben - Jul 13th, 2010 Hey Apache, Sure, no problem! (I think, if memory serves...) When you're editing your email templates, the last tab is labeled "Reference". That defines a bunch of placeholders that you can use in your email fields - the HTML and text fields that make up the content of your emails. I think they also work in the subject field, so give that a go. All the best - Ben |
