Automatically Generate XML For Each Submission - greatwhitebuffalo - Dec 8th, 2010 Hello, Looking for information or a coder that can help here. What I need is to be able to use formtools to be able to generate an individual XML file for each new form once it's completed and submitted. Is this possible? Thanks! RE: Automatically Generate XML For Each Submission - Ben - Dec 9th, 2010 Hi greatwhitebuffalo, Sure! Form Tools already does something like this "out of the box" - at least, it can generate the XML if not create the actual files. Go to Modules -> Export Manager and click Select. There, update the XML export group to have Visibility = Show. After that's done, at the bottom of the Submission Listing page for administrators and clients you'll see an option to download the info as XML. You can completely customize the structure of the XML through that module, too. Hope this helps! - Ben |
