Installation - rnlanders - Dec 9th, 2010 Hi, I've downloaded and unzipped the folder, and "put" it on my webserver with Dreamweaver. When I navigate to the /install folder with a web browser, all I see is Index of /formtools/install, with a list of the folders and files in install. If I click on index.php, all I get is a blank screen. I looked through the other threads and didn't see anything similar, but I may have missed it, so I apologize if I'm repeating a thread here. Any help would be appreciated, Rob RE: Installation - Ben - Dec 9th, 2010 Hi Rob, It sounds like PHP isn't configured on your server. Web servers are configured to automatically recognize files with certain names (like index.html, index.htm) and show them when someone requests the parent folder without a file name. When PHP is configured, index.php is added to the list. I'd fire off an email to your hosting provider and ask what's up. Good luck! - Ben RE: Installation - rnlanders - Dec 10th, 2010 (Dec 9th, 2010, 2:04 PM)Ben Wrote: Hi Rob, Thanks for the quick reply, Ben. We actually host our own web server, so I'll talk to my network guy about it. He thought he had PHP set up, but we'll have to double-check. Thanks again. I'll let you all know how it goes. Rob |
