Multiple dropdown values not registering

I am using FormTools v2.2.6

I created an external form with a multiple dropdown field. For some reason Form Tools only registers 1 value, even though I may have chosen 2 or 3 values. The value registered in the database is always the last one I selected.

Does anyone know what is happening and how to fix it?

P.S. I tried the form with FormTools, and the dropdown displays all the selections. Seems that there is something wrong in Form Tools or I am missing something.

Are you talking about a list with multiple selections? I'm not sure that formtools supports that. A drop down is different than a multi select

Yes, a list with multiple selections. Form Tools does support. You just have to ensure the html is written correctly. In my case:

You must have the [ ] brackets after the activity name or it won't work.
