Hi guys,
I'm new to Form Tools and haven't even installed it yet. So, I wish to submit a two part question, hopefully to guide me as I get started.
First, I ultimately want to use Form Tools either incorporated into a Joomla 3 article, or (if not technically possible) run it in tandem with my Joomla 3 website. Not finding anything really definitive, I'd like to ask if it's possible to display the Form Tools data input in a Joomla article or module?
My web host provides for installation into a sub-domain, so I may end up just url hot linking to/from my Joomla site, if Form Tools must run "as stand alone." And, this is perfectly acceptable to me, in case Form Tools isn't Joomla friendly.
Second, my key use for Form Tools is to collect event sign up data, and, display the data live, in tabular format, either within a Joomla article, or separately. User enters desired data. Data immediately populates to and appends a report format displayed right on the same or another web page. Thus, the user can see what he inputs, along with what others input.
It appears that the Form Tools module, "Report Builder" might be what is needed, but I must ask first to be sure, vis a vis preference is to output to a Joomla article or to a given web page if not Joomla friendly.
Thanks very much,
Jack
