data is entering DB as null...help!

When using my form the fields are moving a value of NULL into the DB. How do I fix this?

All of them, or just some? Do any form field values get into the database? If not, you just get new blank entries for each submission? When did this happen - just recently, or right after you added the form to be processed by Form Tools?

I created in the form in the tool and then proceeded to add a new submission. I filled out the form and hit ADD. I returned to the search results page and it showed the record however all the fields where NULL. This happens every time I enter a new submission. This form is Internal only and it happens to all the fields I created.

Hi Bbeehler,

Whoah... that's not good! I've never heard of that problem before, but it's pretty serious: it means the script isn't working as it should; there's no reason it should behave like that.

Are you by any chance using the Classic Grey theme? If so, could you check that you're using a compatible version for the Core? For Form Tools 2.1.0 you should be using Classic Grey v1.1.2

Yesterday someone spotted a related problem & I realized the main download file contained the incorrect version. It was fixed yesterday, but if you downloaded it before then, it could be that...

Hi Ben,

I switched to the Grey theme recreated the DB and still experienced the same result. NULL values being entered into the DB instead of the data inputted.
