Custom Submission Date Ouput
#1
I searched the site and forums, but all I could find was this page in the documentation: http://docs.formtools.org/userdoc2_1/?page=ft_date

Within the admin portal, I see where you can change the Submission Date to output to whatever you choose from the drop down list. Is there anyway I can add a new custom submission date output to that list?

Here's the problem: When I receive an email from a form submission, I have the submission date listed on the bottom. It looks something like this:

Code:
Submission made: 2012-01-05 12:26 PM

This is perfect, except that I'd like to add a comma between the date and time, or something else to separate the numbers in the output. When I receive the email in Gmail, Google automatically turns the first portion of this into a clickable telephone number:

Code:
tel:2012-01-05%2012

Not a big deal, really, but kind of annoying. I like having the datetime vs just the date. Advice?

Thanks,
Brandon

Hi Brandon,

Good question! Yes, but only with the Custom Fields module. Take a look at the online demo, select the Custom Fields module (From the modules page) and edit the Date field type. There, you can see how it's edited.
