Hello!
Thanks for an awesome script. Really helpful!
I'm looking for some advice on the best approach to solve a problem I want to use Formtools for.
I have FT set up on one website, which I use as a control panel for my clients. The idea is to show them various data in the control panel, such as various form submissions etc.
Now, I want to set up forms for displaying in the control panel using Form Tools, but for various reasons these forms will be located on a separate website. Thus, I can't use the same Form Tools instance in both cases.
Is it possible to just set up my forms on the separate site so that they submit to the FT-instance in my control panel? I haven't tested it, and theoretically it sounds doable, but I wanted to ask for advice on the best approach here.
Would this mean I'd need to keep two instances of Form Tools (one on each server) for interacting, and then just setting the form up as appropriate with "external form"?
Just for clarification, what I want to do in bullet points:
* Site A displays and stores the form submissions.
* Site B has the actual forms, which it then submits to Site A's form tools, for easy management of them through site A.
I have experience with PHP etc, so if any programming experience is needed to fix this, it's no issue for me.
Thanks a lot! I'm just trying to wrap my head around what the best approach is.
Cheers!
