Mark a submission as procsssed/viewed

Is there a way via the user interface or via a module to indicate/flag that a form submission has been processed/viewed? (For example, replying to a question that a person has sent in)

I have done this by creating another field on the internal side. It could be a radio button that says "Person Contacted" with a yes/no selection.

If you want, you can create two views, one that lists all submissions that have been responded to (person contacted = yes) and one that lists all submissions that have not been responded to.

Along the same lines, I have created a comments field for me to put comments or even a text field with an email the submitting user button that allows me to send a message directly from the formtools submission.
