I need help on:

How to use the form on my sites or external sites?

Is there a way to get the form as HTML to paste into another site?

Need a beginner's explanation on internal, external?

Where is the form created saved at for use?

This software sets up the database for storage of the form data right?

If you have FT create an Internal Form, it is only stored within the system.

Is there a way to get the form as HTML to paste into another site?
Not that I am aware of. Unless I plan on only using a form within FT, I create a form outside of FT and follow the steps in FT to add an External Form, which connects the form you create, to FT.

Just add the appropriate code in the external form to match the internal form #. Example:
<form action="http://yoursite.com/formtools/process.php" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="form_tools_form_id" value="6" /> (6=the corresponding form)

Where is the form created saved at for use?

Yes. This is created during the FT installation. And also each time you create a new form.

If you need help creating an external form, you could try using an online form generator, then follow the steps in FT to connect it as an external.
