I can't login

I installed Form Tools a day ago. Today I tried to log in with the username and PW I though I created and it said "sorry, that pw does not match." I checked my email and found out that the username and pw ARE correct but I still cannot log in. Can this be solved?

Hey Bill,

That's odd! Have you tried clicking on the "Forget my password?" link on the main page? That will reset your password and sent the new one to you.

Let me know if you have any trouble.

No - I still can't login and might have to install again. I tried "Forgot Password" but never received an email with a new password.

Hey Bill,

What you can do is manually update the database password.

Create a new password here:
http://docs.formtools.org/encrypt.php

Then in phpMyAdmin (or another database management tool) go to your ft_accounts table (your DB table prefix may be different), and update the password value for the administrator record (row #1).

That should then let you be able to log in.
