Emails not being sent...

I have some forms for a bowling tournament that I run which have been working fine until recently. Someone stated they sent in an entry form but I never received the email, so I logged in to the console, and indeed the entry is there, but no email was generated. I then went in to test the email, and when I run the test, all I get is "Your test email could not be sent."

Was wondering if there is a log somewhere that I might track down where the error is coming from?

You might want to check your Apache logs to see if there are any PHP errors.

I have the same problem but without the error message in the test email, my test email is ok, bit nothing arrive in my mailbox.
All works ok until 2 days ago.

For example
I have a forms people to fill in for a contest.
A few days later I want thank them to participate my contest.
