Submissions Searchable by Date

I think I'm overlooking a setting or something.

I've setup a client with a view against a form. The View has certain persmissions as desired. I'd like the client to be able to search by Date (Date ranges).

It works fine with the 'All submissions' view (but obviously this is the default admin view) but the client will only be using the custom view. Yet when they use the Date function in the drop down, this is all that show's in comparison to the 'All submissions' view listing various options.



To confirm for the custom view. The field 'Date' has the following ticked [Column/Sortable/Searchable]

I've checked numerous times, the permissions in the field options under Views, still /banging head against wall. I must be getting tired. :S

Any help or direction appreciated.

Huh, that's odd.

The code that generates the list of available dates to search by is smart (hah!) in that it figures out the total range of dates available for submissions in your form View and shows the appropriate search options.

It looks like something wonky may be going on... however, just to make sure: log out then log in and try again. I think the information is stored in sessions because it takes time to compute. Perhaps the sessions are being dumped...?

Thanks for the input, have tried logging in and out of the client account concerned.

My Order of process is that I create a new view (from the Template 'All Submissions') , then edit the view to set permissions on what can be viewed / sorted / searched / edited etc. Upon doing that is refrains the client from searching by date range. Even though the tick box for the 'Date' field is true.
