No longer able to send form emails after PHP upgrade

Thanks for the info! I just upgraded my PHP version today and am getting an error when sending a test email via Swift Mailer: "There was a problem communicating with SMTP: The SMTP connection failed to start [ssl://my.[domain].com:465]: fsockopen returned Error Number 0 and Error String ''


I tried editing the code you provided, but I got a little confused. Can you post the entire emails.php file?

Well, I'm not sure the error you are mentioning is related to the issue for which I provided a fix.

The fix provided is related to the impossibility to send multipart e-mails with the PHP mail function. So I don't think it applies to an installation using Swift Mailer.

Otherwise, to apply the patch, simple look for the lines starting with a symbol minus - and replace them with the ones starting with a symbol +.

Thanks. I think you are right. It seems to be an issue with PHP 5.6 and the older version of Swiftmailer that this module includes. Hopefully this can get updated soon so it works with SSL!
