Project beginner - What should be step 1 !!

Hi !!

Firstly bundle of thanks to both support persons , very prompt and encouraging reply.

so, as i m new to this form tool script and in my previous post i have discussed my requirements also.

as many others will be beginners like me, so after installing formtools on our webserver, what should be our first step.

1. i have made my form in MS word, and i have finalized all fields.

2. next i m planning to do is to design it in frontpage / expression web.

Uptill now, what i have figured out is that, there is no WYSIWYG web form builder available in the script. please correct me if i m wrong.

so options users have is to make webforms in some web-authoring software like dreamweaver , expression web, frontpage, wysiwg or even coffeecup !!

Hi Drahmad,

No - Form Tools doesn't include a form builder yet. Any time you want to create your own forms you'll need to either create the HTML by hand, or use something like Dreamweaver or Expression Web.

After you've created your form, you'll want to check out this page:

It explains how the process of integrating your form with Form Tools works, the difference between POST and API forms and includes some links to further tutorials on whatever approach is most appropriate for you.

thanks ben, its good, just to start, but i have tested how the basic things work, making a simple 3 q form in a web editor.

you didnt responded to the module issue problem !! i can email you my admin details, so that you can login and see whats really the problem there !
