What exactly happens during the process? At what point does it fail? If the math isn't entered correctly (and I hate to say it, but I've got it wrong a few times ) it should say so on the screen. If not, it should pop open a dialog saying "Your demo is being created...". When it's created, it'll show a link.

Also what browser are you in? I'll check things over again.

I have tried it both I.E and FF... No message, no popups... no confirmation.. no email....did not try chrome...yet

Weird!

I wonder if maybe some old resources were cached on the page? If anyone else runs into this problem, empty the cache for the page/site and try again.

Hi Mark,

I encountered that, too. To get rid of it, just clear your cookies. My hosting provider told me that due to a recent server change, any old sessions would no longer work, resulting in that error. I had to empty my cookies a couple of times to completely solve it, it does seem to have gone away now.

If anyone else notices this problem re-occuring after emptying their cookies, let me know and I'll bug my host.

*sigh* ... hosting providers...

Hi Ben & fellow readers,

Clearing my cookies did indeed do the trick initially, however I still feel there is something not quite right with the Demo sign up page.

When I went back to 'demo.formtools.org' in the same browsing session, I received the error mentioned above, plus the header didn't render correctly (logo and Login link misplaced) plus the following errors at the bottom of the page:

Hey Mark,

Yeah, that's exactly the error I used to get. Clearing the cookies worked for me initially, too - then the error came back. I had to clear them a couple of times. Total pain.

I'll send this to my host, but I strongly suspect they'll just say it's the cookies.

I had to re-image a PC in our office from scratch today. As the PC can't possibly have any Cookies on it, I thought I'd try out the Form Tools Demo.

Unfortunately I still got the 3 lines of error code.

?! Oh bloomin' eck.

[Unless... you have some sort of synching set up on your browsers... that may well share cookies between different browsers...?]

And have you tried different browsers? Just curious to know if it's localized to Chrome or not.

I've emailed them again regarding the problem. It does very much look like a server problem, but they'll know better than me.
