Yes, the module works by mapping a single user to a submission. As soon as we get into one account -> many submissions, it seems more in the realm of client accounts. Know what I mean?
It sounds like what you really need is a new sort of module: one that creates a client account for a submission and can then map forthcoming submissions to that account, based on specific criteria from the form.
How do you want it to work, exactly? In your example, how do you know John has submitted 4 submissions - how are they mapped to one another?
Let me know. If we can sort out the functional details in a general way, this seems like a good idea for a new module.
