Hi Ben
With all my other php/mysql set ups i.e word press etc I always use the same Mysql host name credentials as I have this time. Instead of using local host i always use the details supplied by my hosting provider.Thanks for getting back so quick and take your time re the email I know your a very busy Man

Ah - if it's giving you the message "Unable to connect to mysql server", that means that the MySQL credentials you supplied are incorrect - most likely the hostname.
I just got your email (sorry! I'm playing catch-up here!) so I'll take a look at it later today & email you back then.
But from what you described, it sounds like the hostname is incorrect.
